The shop's orange door (now white) next to Dog Leap Stairs in Newcastle upon Tyne opened in July 2014.
Our shop is located just under the majestic rail arch, down Grey Street and Dean Street and just up from the Quayside and Tyne Bridge.
We stock some mint Geordie Gifts, or presents as we prefer to call them, and they aren't all Georide. We're getting more known for the growing collection of truly original greeting cards that 'say it like it is'.
Our Souvenirs upon Tyne Shop is now integrated within our Gift & Card Shop.
Whilst we are called UpSide Down Presents, we wanted to make the web address shorter and snippier, so 61side.co.uk is the online version of 61 Side, Newcastle, NE1 3JE.

A shop, one man & his dog...
Sean & his dog Oscar are the co-founders, although Oscar sadly went over the rainbow peacefully so lives/works/licks on in spirit.
Many others are involved on 'The Side'. The shop and online store have a mint team to help seven days per week.

We stock a range of greeting cards for all occasions, that are truly unique, many hilarious, lots of nice, some naughty.
We don't believe in cards for cards sake, we think greeting cards should really state something, and wow do ours stand out.
We have locally themed Geordie cards, especially those rare cards with MAM on (not Mum or Mom), and lots of funny one-liners that "say it how it is".
